A free open-source mobile dribbble browser
Because I wanted to look at sweet dribbble shots on my phone while waiting in line at the grocery store.
You already got it! There’s nothing to download, hooppps is a webapp. Just revisit this URL on your mobile browser and bookmark this baby!
**Not just for iPhones.
hooppps was made by Michael Parenteau & Relevance, Inc. It’s built on Rails 3 and uses the swish gem. The code is hosted on github and is ready for your design/dev love. hooppps is in no way affiliated with dribbble but is obviously a huge fan!

Haven't posted something decent in a while so hopefully this snapshot will remedy that. It's a small piece of a bigger project, still WIP.

I like it! On first glance it feels like the translucent black buttons should have the same inner shadow that the blue filter has...
-
Coen van Hasselt
@Joey Rabbitt I don't think so. The blue button has the inner shadow for a reason to show you it's active.

A border around the image on the right would make it more "viewable" i think - otherwise it looks great!
-
Paul Ungureanu
@Steffen Nørgaard Andersen I'm hoping the dark background will solve that.

@Coen van Hasselt For me, because they are translucent black it almost looks more like they should be lower than the wood, like they're indented. The inner shadow that implys the solid blue highlight is actually lower than the glassy black shapes feels a little miss matched.

I love how playful the pin is.

Dennis Covent
Ow man, love that pin! It says 'BAM'
-
Andrew Liebchen
@Joey Rabbitt, there's an ambiguity to those dark buttons...are they a smokey piece of glass on top of the wood, or are they a darker wood inset into the menubar surface. If the former, the inset shadow is confusing, if the ladder it's fine, right? Maybe better to correct the ambiguity.
-
Joey Rabbitt
@Andrew Liebchen I think the thing that's not sitting right is the mix of translucent and solid colour.. The indented solid blue is what makes me think the glassy buttons don't quite match up.

♥ The pin also.

@Joey Rabbitt your slowly moving away from the subject, but i do get what you mean, the black buttons do indeed not fit well in the design. It would be better if these black buttons where made of a lighter wood that pushes out, so it fits the wood.

@Coen van Hasselt "Moving away from the subject?" You make it sound like I'm under interegation here. Just giving some feedback ;)
-
Coen van Hasselt
@Joey Rabbitt Oh no, didn't meant to put it that way lol.
